ANTIOCH, IL (September 2, 2011) – State Bank of The Lakes and its branches will be hosting fall shredding and electronics recycling events, the first of which will be held Saturday, September 17 from 10:00am until Noon at the Antioch and Lindenhurst bank locations. The second event will be held Saturday, September 24 from 10:00am until Noon at the Grayslake, Lake Villa, and Spring Grove bank locations.
Customers can bring documents that need shredding, as well as electronic items that they wish to recycle such as printers, fax machines, laptops, PC’s, and miscellaneous cordless tools to name a few. Everyone will be limited to 3 bags of materials for shredding and 5 electronic items for recycling. No furniture, large electronic items or televisions will be accepted however. Customers are responsible for the removal of sensitive data from their hard drives and other storage media before recycling.

All shredding and recycling services will be free of charge. Customers are encouraged to bring a friend and enjoy this community event. Event coupons can be printed by clicking here or picked up in the lobby of any of our five convenient locations. Coupons are encouraged but not required for service.
