Run for Freedom

Start your holiday with the 16th Annual Antioch Run For Freedom on Sunday July 4th, 2010. Join us for this community event that has become a July 4th tradition in Antioch, drawing 1000+ participants. The race starts promptly at 8:00am and both the competitive runner and the casual walking family are invited to join. If you’ve never participated before make this the year you’ll say, I’ll see you at the Run For Freedom!

This year the Antioch Run For Freedom is supporting the “Adopt-A-Package” program. Please join us in supporting our troops by donating items from the suggested list (click here for the Adopt-A-Package list) , bring your donation to our designated area on race day. By doing this you will be supporting our men and women serving overseas. The Antioch VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Post 4551 will arrange to package and ship all of the items collected to our soldiers.
